Golang Job: Backend GoLang Developer

A Backend GoLang Developer is required for a highly mathematical software solutions company base in Farnborough.

Within a small team of GoLang Engineers you will be producing innovative, regulated and scalable software for the gambling industry.

The role of Backend GoLang Engineer

• Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues and profile and analyse bottlenecks.
• Understand and implement complex mathematical rules for the calculation of game outcomes.
• Develop robust and scalable integrations to a wide variety of different third party APIs.
• Develop robust APIs to support internal and third party clients.
• Create automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and to allow for regression testing.
• Optimise existing services to improve their scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and daily standups.

To be considered for this GoLang Engineer role you will have proven commercial experience developing with Go, with strong mathematical skills.

This is a hybrid role where you will be required in their modern Farnborough based offices at least twice a month.
